Description

DuraDrive 3/8 in Pipe Hammer Internally Threaded Strike Anchor is good for ceiling applications when hanging threaded rod in concrete, block, brick or stone. The anchor has a pre-expanded bend at the bottom of the anchor which straightens out to conform to the walls of the hole when hammered into the proper size pre-drilled hole. The anchor will always try to regain its pre-expanded bend which causes constant expansion pressure within the hole. This eliminates the need for any additional tightening or secondary setting operation. The anchor is not recommended for overhead, life-safety or sustained tensile loading applications.
