The RS001GZ cordless Circular Saw is powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 6,400 rpm for continuously performing heavy duty, faster cutting.

The RS001GZ is equipped with a magnesium die cast base with rear handle, lock-off safety trigger and electric brake for increased operator safety.
